Terezian Fair

The Terezian Fair (Trejzino senje) in Murska Sobota is one of the longest-running fairs. It takes place every year on October 15th, the feast day of Saint Teresa of Ávila (1515–1582), a Spanish Carmelite, religious reformer, mystic, and saint. Pope Paul VI declared her the first woman to be named a Doctor of the Church, recognizing the important role of women in the service of life and peace. This year, we celebrate the 500th anniversary of her birth.
As in previous years, several hundred vendors will participate in the fair. A special section will be dedicated to craftsmen and artisans, and local hospitality providers will showcase local culinary delights.
