The traminec route

Route description
Follow the route of the exquisite wine that ranges from healing springs of Slatina to sun-kissed vineyards, as the locals would describe it. In this area, the Romans glorified Bah, the God of Wine and enjoyed in natural springs while breathing fresh air. Let that past be our inspiration.
The Kapela Peak in the Radgona-Kapela vineyard area reaches 312 metres along with its surrounding hills. From Radenci, the road takes us across picturesque peaks to the famous Kapela Peak, from which you’ll be able to see the whole Pomurje region. Cycling across the Hrastje-Mota field provides us with some serenity, you may come across some swans along the way. Wine lovers will get a chance to visit the local wine cellars and try the local wines, one of which is also the “traminec” variety.
The route is especially suitable for road cyclists and individual cycling enthusiasts.
The tour takes place along this route: Radenci – Boračeva – Janžev Vrh – Kobilščak – Radenski Vrh – Kapelski Vrh – Zgornji Kocjan – Hrašenski Vrh – Zasadi – Bučečovci – Vučja vas – Hrastje-Mota – Turjanci – Radenci.
