»The Mura« cycling route – left riverbank

Route description

When researching the left riverbank of the Mura River, you will soon figure out that the Pomurje Region is not a region with only flat landscape and that storks are not the only local inhabitants. You’ll also be able to observe various bird species and discover other gems of this region. Along with “gibanica”, the local dessert, you’ll be able to find other traditional desserts that are specific only for this region. The Mura River is not always wrapped in a mysterious mist; the sun often finds its way to its surface, making a very magical atmosphere.

The route is not difficult, the tour takes place along this route: Gederovci - Sodišinci - Murski Petrovci - Petanjci - Tišina - Tropovci - Gradišče - Murski Črnci - Satahovci - Krog - Bakovci - Dokležovje - Ižakovci - Melinci - Gornja Bistrica - Srednja Bistrica - Dolnja Bistrica - Hotiza - Velika Polana - Mala Polana - Lendava - Dolina pri Lendavi - Pince.
